Davidson set for hospital checks

Anthony Davidson will be taken to hospital for checks following his huge crash in the Le Mans 24 Hours. The Briton's Toyota TS030 flipped through the air then slammed into the barriers following contact with a GTE Am class Ferrari at Mulsanne corner five hours into the race. The Toyota team's director of business operations Rob Leupen told AUTOSPORT that Davidson appeared to have escaped serious injury.
