Crutchlow frustrated to miss podium
Cal Crutchlow is certain he would have finished on the podium in the Dutch TT, despite his broken ankle, had he not gone off the road avoiding the Alvaro Bautista and Jorge Lorenzo collision at the first corner. Crutchlow dropped to 15th in the incident, but was able to battle back through to finish fifth. His Tech 3 Yamaha team-mate Andrea Dovizioso took third at Assen after a dice with factory Yamaha rider Ben Spies.
