Gutierrez to replace Perez in FP1
Esteban Gutierrez will stand in for Sergio Perez in first practice for the Indian Grand Prix, Sauber has confirmed. Perez has been struggling with illness, and on Thursday elected to skip his media commitments and return to his hotel early to rest . Sauber felt it better Perez sat out the opening session in order to aid his recovery however, leading to the confirmation that reserve driver Gutierrez will assume control
