Luza & Sweeney Claim Iowa
Week Seven of the NASCAR iRacing.com Class C Series (open setup) takes the sim racers on a trip to Iowa Speedway, a 7/8-mile short track located in Newton, Iowa for some good short track racing. Since opening in 2006, the track has provided some very exciting racing in its few short years. The 635 online racers who took the green flag for at least one race during the year wanted to be part of the great racing that the speedway provides. Michael Sweeney (New York) took the checkered flag over Gary Fridinger (Pennsylvania) by 0.202 seconds after leading 66 of the race’s 90 laps.
