Allmendinger gets Detroit outing
Penske has expanded AJ Allmendinger's IndyCar programme to include next month's outing in Detroit. Allmendinger originally signed to drive the team's third car at the Indianapolis 500 before adding Barber and Long Beach to his schedule. Penske confirmed on Friday that he will now also participate in IndyCar's first double-header of the season.
