Formula 1 a ‘thinking man’s game’ now
Formula 1's high-degrading tyres have turned the sport into a 'thinking man's game', reckons McLaren sporting director Sam Michael. Pirelli's move to more aggressive rubber compounds for this year has put a higher premium on tyre management, with most teams accepting that getting on top of degradation is now the key to success
