Tandy tests Motorbase’s BTCC Ford
Nick Tandy has tested a British Touring Car NGTC machine for the first time at Brands Hatch, driving a Motorbase Ford Focus. The factory Porsche GT racer has previously competed in British GT with the squad, which has had a difficult season in the BTCC so far in 2013. Team boss David Bartrum now hopes to run the 28-year-old former McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC Award finalist and British Formula 3 race winner in the official TOCA test at Snetterton next week.
