Hector Hurst steps up to F2 for 2012
British driver Hector Hurst will graduate from Formula Renault BARC to Formula 2 for the 2012 season. The 19-year-old scored two fifth-place finishes en route to 13th in last season's BARC Renault championship. He has previously been a finalist on the Formula BMW European Scholarship programme, although he elected to sit out 2010 in order to focus on his education.
