Perez promises to avoid desperation
Sergio Perez insists that he will not "drive desperately" in pursuit of his first Formula 1 grand prix win. The Mexican is under pressure to break his duck having switched from Sauber to McLaren, but he is determined to focus on stringing together consistent results as he approaches his debut for the team in the Australian Grand Prix. This follows an end to the 2012 season during which he became embroiled in several on-track incidents
